Anyone Else Deciding To Not Observe Daylight Savings Time Until April?

February 22, 2010

It’s pointless, it uses MORE energy (per several research studies done on the subject), and having it light late in the summer is bad enough (you can’t go to sleep and especially because it’s too sunny all summer, the sun just shines in your eyes an hour longer), there’s no need to extend it even longer. It is nice, however, that it’s dark again when I go to work. So… I am keeping my clocks on the correct standard time until April. Anyone else?

ok, you be in your own little time zone while the rest of us actually try to be on time for things. :)

You can ‘decide’ if you want too… but you’ll be late…. till April.
But, I agree… I wish they would leave the time alone.

I disagree with you. It was great to not have to turn on the lights until after 7pm today instead of 4pm in December. What time do you go to bed that the sunlight is keeping you awake? Whatever you do, avoid going to Alaska in the summertime. The sun is up 24 hours a day!

I was thinking about it, but then I was an hour late to a test, and got a zero on it, so I decided to observe it
