I work in Construction and we usually start at 7:00 A.M. It is still pitch black!

The next president will hopefully deal with the economy and the war first. I agree with you though, driving to work and working in the dark is ridiculous when you consider the archaic nature time change.
I live in China and children go to school in the dark and leave school in the dark.
Many even stay at the school and have classes late into the evening 6 1/2 days a week.
No one complains.
That is why China is winning the economic war.
So you think you have it bad?

When Jimmy Carter was president he got the bright idea to have Daylight Savings Time in February. We were going to school in pitch black at 8 AM. Day Light Savings Time is dumb. We should split the difference and move the time back a half hour and leave it there.
Considering they just had pretty irrefutable evidence that it actually causes an INCREASE in energy use, I would certainly hope so.
That government governs best that governs least.
And given how many mistakes they tend to jump into, I really wish they would take that saying to heart.
I hope they do away with it altogether.
No … Your next president is not intelligent … they all expressed belief in Global Warming
The president has absolutely nothing to do with this decision so I will say no.
Do some research before asking if the President will do something that he/she can not legally do.
Congress is the one that voted to extend daylight savings by 4 weeks in 2007. There is already a plan for congress to readdress this issue this summer, after a year of data has been collected.
