how long does it take for a savings bond to mature and reach full value…i could use the extra cash at this point and i was wondering if that is a way to go…i have had some for a few years and i was wondering if they are worth anything….also i do not have a bank account…so how would i go about cashing them in

    5 years and any bank will cash.

    it depend on type of saving bonds different saving bonds have different maturity period it may be 5 10 or even 2 years
