John Mccain’s terrible Health Care “plan” vs. Obama

May 14, 2009

changes. First he was taxing health benefits through both payroll and income tax. Then he said he only intended to apply income tax, which meant that his plan would create even larger deficits. Now he says there won’t be deficits, because he’s going to make up the cost of those tax credits by slashing Medicare and Medicaid. When a candidate suddenly, almost whimsically changes the way he proposes to handle .3 trillion – which is the amount of money his plan puts in play over the next ten …

“First I know from what gay people have told me it’s not a life choice.” meaning it would be difficult to change so why bother trying.

“Second taxing people over 250k means they are paying there share. Hopefully it stays at 250k” Its not just people making $250k its also business’ but why should they pay a higher percentage of their income when they already pay more when they pay the same percentage. 37% of $250k is a lot more than 37% of $50k.

i agree with you. but there are too many idiots who clog up the appointment times because they didnt know they needed to rest for a cold, or drink fluids for a fever.

meanwhile you have a serious illness or injury and need a doctor. you have to make an appt for tomorrow cuz they are full. u wanna know why they are full? bcuz of those idiots who still dont know they need to rest for a cold, AFTER being told the previous visit.

thats my opinion.

It’s time for centrist and moderates to take control of the white house. Liberals and conseratives have done enough

jacksonrrr May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

Your stupid just cause you can afford doesn’t mean we should not turn our back other people ( poor and mid class people )

jacksonrrr May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

healthcare is not a bussiness it’s a responsible to the people from the govt. so we can really go to the doctor without worring about a bill

funkyflights May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

Thanks! Wish you the best as well ….. as Americans we all need to pull together to get this thing fixed!!

arslp May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

I am very sorry that you are in that position. In your case, it would seem that no matter who is in office, your healthcare coverage would be difficult to get. That certainly does not seem fair.

I, too am self-employed and did not have insurance when I got sick last year, and am still waiting to see if I can get coverage. I may very well find myself in your shoes. It really is discouraging. Good Luck to you, and I hope you can find coverage.

funkyflights May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

This is where your not getting it….. these insurance companies can still deny your care in your biggest time of need…. I dont care how well you take care of yourself you can still get sick just like that….. also what about people with pre existing conditions that cant get there own health care coverage and don’t have it from there job ? your only thinking about yourself with that attitude… taking care of yourself it good, we all should, but sickness can strike any time without warning

funkyflights May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

How does a 5 k credit help you if your self employed with a pre existing condition and CANT GET HEALTH INSURANCE…..??? I cant get it dude…. tried over and over…. CANT GET IT! why would and insurance company cover me when I might need major surgery in the future…. that makes me a losing proposition for them … seriously I am one of many in this position …. I work hard and am self employed…. NO HEALTH INSURANCE… cant get it bro …. so WTF do we do just leave millions behind?

I am self-employed, and will not be able to afford insurance premiums if they are also taxed (which that lying Obama said would NEVER happen). McCain’s proposed plan for healthcare would have benefitted me.

McCain was trashed for allowing a $5K credit annually; then paying premiums from untaxed gross income. Now, Obama camp verbalizing taxing insurance premiums. He is a two-faced liar, and I hope we survive his horrendous decisions.

arslp May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

Since August of last year, it meant $9000.00 in medical bills. So, now Obama will be taxing money for premiums.

McCain’s plan was far more agreeable: $5,000 credit toward (untaxable) premiums; and then pay premium from gross (not taxed). The US will rue the day Barak Obama was elected. He will make Jimmy Carter look like a good president :(

its obama. he wants to socialize healthcare. which is the stupidest thing.

mccain wanted to make healthcare more affordable but not practically giving it away.

twomells May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

i feel bad for you americans i cannot imagine whats its like to not have universal health care

ZombieMahem May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

This video is bull shit…..I will DIE because of Obama’s health care…..and not just me…..HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people will die because of Barack Obama…..He is a lying PIECE OF SHIT!

Grandus11 May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

The Obama plan will be much like the University of Chicago Hospital when Michelle Obama helped pass Urban Health Initiative with David Axelrods help. I doubt very few of the Dems have actually done any research on this or on David Axelrods Organization ASK Public Strategies. I find it quite interesting that for someone who does not know William Ayers, Axelrod did work for Commonwealth Edison which as we all know was CEOed by Thomas Ayers, William Ayers father.

who’s idea is it to have solialized medicin??? Is it Obama’s or McCain’s idea to have the government control what hospital/or what medican u have??????? who’s idea is it??? pleasae write to me if u know?

mckinzey62 May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

I am not responsible for your medical care. If you do not have health care then you need to save money, don’t get pregnant or get a women pregnant. I exercise and take care of myself so can reduce my own cost and I should not pay for you fat asses that are sitting playing your Xbox and heating hot pockets. See it is about choices. If I have to for you then you should pay a 10,000 dollar per day tax if you do not exercise… how about that? it is your choice not mine….

You haven’t been exposed to a third party because the powers that be prefer no change. You have to do your homework.
Try a party that upholds the Constitution like the Constitution Party or the Libertarian Party. Their candidates are on YT as well (Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin)

GUMMYBEAYUH May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

With 23 years of Health Care experience, I can state with absolute certainty that Senator McCain’s plan is FAR better than Senator Obama’s. Senator Obama’s sounds wonderful, but it has so many flaws that have been proven to fail time, and time again, that it is hardly worth the time, money, and effort to even comprehend it. Look at Hawaii if you need an American example of this failure. They had a carbon copy of Senator Obama’s plan, and it failed horribly within only 7 Months.

“fist sexual lifestyle is a choice”

Then why do homosexuals always say they were born gay?

“second taxing people 3 more percent for making over 250,000 dollars is a far cry from Socialism”

3% is just the start and according to Joe Biden its $150k now and I’m sure it will soon be $42k. They also want to raise capital gains tax and raise the cap on social security taxes both of which will hit the middle class.

ArboriusOwns May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

The democrats deregulated the housing market it was the republicans that called for more regulation in 2004. Look around on YT theres plenty of videos straight from their mouths.

ArboriusOwns May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

You think the government won’t deny you treatment for health issues. Hell democrats are always complaining that the world is over populated they look at the old and sick as a burden on society. They can’t wait for them old people to die and make room for them.

EmilyGreene1984 May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am

If you actually looked more fully into the issues regarding him, instead of just listening to CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, etc – you would see that I’m not speaking just, as you claim, “Republican brain-washed garbage”. If John McCain were in Barack’s position, I would not fail to call him as I have about Barack. Close ties with a self-confessed, unrepentant terrorist, radical liberal views, advocating abortion, willing to bring back the “Fairness Doctrine”, raising taxes, taking money from others, etc
