I want to spend at least 100 dollars a peice. Where do i purchase them from and how many years will i have to let them sit to accumulate a decent amount of money? How do i set it to where they can’t touch it until they’re at least 30 years old??

You can go to any bank and purchase them. It takes about 18-20 years to reach Face Value. (depending on the economy) Then it earns interest for about 10 more years. (30 years total from date of purchase) If their names are on the bond they can cash them in when they turn 18. There are only two ways to put names on the bond: Co-Owner (where either one can cash them in) or Beneficiary (where if one dies the other can cash it in)
