cash it yes, deposit it, no
Usually, sometimes they ask you for an ID at your bank just to access your account. Better to be a pain and ask for an ID than have someone stealing. Get a new ID, sign the money order to someone you trust with an ID and have them cash it for you.
Call your bank and explain the situation to them. Some banks require an ID every time you cash anything or withdraw cash, some don’t. Or if you have an ATM, just deposit the money order and then take the cash out of the ATM machine.
Call them and ask. At my bank they have my picture and signature on their computer and just call it up so I don’t need ID. See what yours can do to help you.
Better get another ID quickly as you will need it for other purposes.
yes, they will ask you for it unless you deposit it into the account. If you deposit it, you can withdraw it later with your ATM card……….might be able to give them your social, but idk
