Savings is gone, no jobs here in Detroit. house is worth less than what I owe. Taxes, I can’t pay taxes without income.
I earn more than $250,000/year. I have a nice home and have saved more than 3/4 of a million for retirement.
I’m voting for Obama. I will pay higher taxes. But someone has to take responsibility for the ever-growing budget deficits created by the Bush administration’s two wars to nowhere. I’m not sure that the tax increases now will be enough to handle that huge Bush debt. But if we don’t start now, the situation is just going to get worse.
Tax and spend is better than spending without sufficient taxation.
And I also think we will be spending a lot less money without the two wars, and I’m pretty sure Obama will end the wars before Mr. “Hundred Years” McCain.

I guess you think bridges are built by magical unicorns that do everything for free. I guess the army gets paid in gum drops and lollipops? Where do you thbunk they get this money? Its where our tax money goes. It pays for firetrucks stretlights and our police force as well. I’d rather have a tax and spend democrat then a tax and keep republican.
Because if the positions on the issues are favorable AND I’m doing as well as you say…what is there to worry about?!

Yes, because it’s much better than to have a cut and spend Republican. At least Democrats will make sure you get benefits from paying taxes like full and guaranteed healthcare coverage that puts you first before profits.
