We had a couple bonds that somehow got lost when we moved. Is there a way to get copies of them?

you’ll need to get in touch with the US Bureau of the Public Debt (they handle savingsbonds – even lost ones).
    or you can:
To replace a missing savings bond, or request its redemption, please complete form PDF 1048, available on the Bureau of the Public Debt’s web site at http://wwws.publicdebt.treas.gov/NC/FoRM…
