Why Do People Believe The Governments Can Guarentee Their Life Savings ?

Are people so gullible? If the banks end up falling apart the government will just print money to comply with their guarantee so people will have their bank notes and coins but they haven’t accounted to the associated inflation which will render their printed money worthless.

Would There Be Enough Money In Fdic To Pay Everyone Who Lost Their Life Savings In A Total Banking Colapse?
