I want to access some money from my account that came with a pass book. However i have misplaced the book and want to know if I can withdraw money without it. Do i actually need that book for a withdrawal and if not what do i need to do. If i do need the book how do i use it to withdraw money?
The reason i don’t know how to do this is because i didn’t open the account and cannot reach the person who did, also i am not yet 18, would this have an effect?

I will be moving to Asia from the United States and I am wondering how I should move my saving account. I don’t have millions (I guess in that case I had an accountant who would know such things). We are talking about thousands $. I cannot take them in cash obviously; I think taking cheks is too risky as well. International wire transfer, I believe, is extremely costly? Or isn’t it? I am pretty clueless as of what people do in these situations and would appreciate any advice.
