What Would I Have To Do If I Wanted To Change The Name Of The Person Who Would Get My Savings Bond If I Die?

I received several savings bonds from my dad’s ex-wife’s father. He has held them for several years after their divorce and the bonds have my ex-stepmother’s name on them. I really would like to change that since I don’t want her to have them should anything happen to me… Can anyone help me out??

How Do I Replace Savings Bonds In My Name With My Now Adult Children As Pay On Death?

Wife, now ex, kept the bonds. Now claims she can not find them. I suspect she has them hoping that I die so adult children can get the bonds that were accumulated over 20 years, one bond per pay day.

How Do You Find Out About An Old Savings, Certificate In Your Name, From A Bank That No Longer Exist?

I found a savings certificate from the 70′s that my grandparents left me, but the bank, Home savings and Laon Association in Mobile, Al, no longer exist! I’d really like to check on that account, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx!
