Why Are Savings Accounts Rates Better Than Cd/mma Rates At This Time?

i noticed that bank savings rates at places like hsbc are 3% and yet their cds are like 2% or less. Why is that?

I am happy to have either instant or 3 month access.

I’ve heard turkey is pretty good. 15% and more depending on the amount you put into the account. Anywhere else that is any better?

I haven tseen the rates drop in over a year now. Have any of you run into this too?? I would like to refinance if / when they lower the rates.
