I recently found that savings bond today. It’s worth about $125. If I deposit it at the credit union, will they take it at how much it’s worth or the face value (it has $50 printed on it)?

I wasn’t supposed to use the card until it was activated – 24 hours.
Will the bank charge the membership fee to my account for having used the debit card before it was activated?
Or will the website not authorize the account?
