ATM cards are strictly for ATM’s. If there is a credit card company logo on it, it is a debit card and it takes money from your checking account.

The CORRECT answer is whichever one you set it up to use. 99% of the time, that is the checking account. Aside from that being the default, there are good reasons not to use a savings account. Legally, there is a limit to the number of withdraws from a savings account in one month.

If you use your card as a debit, it comes out right then
If you use it as a credit, it depends on how long the place
you purchased your item at sends it in.
Sometimes when I use my credit it doesnt come out of my account
for over a week. I mostly use the debit side
