I definitely recommend ING direct. I’ve had a savings account with them for 4 years now and they are solid, reliable, easy to use and have excellent customer support!
They don’t have the highest rate around, but that isn’t everything. I also have an HSBC account because they pay a higher rate, but the website is not nearly as intuitive as ING.
ING also offers $25 free when you open an account using a referral. If interested, you can get one here:http://SimpleDebtFreeFinance.com/ing-dir…

I don’t know for sure, but my guess is that it would be some “online-only” bank.

I would recommend ING Orange Savings Account. I just opened with them and they have been great so far. They also have high interest rate, no hidden fees, no minimum balance, safe, secure, and FDIC insured! If you plan to open with them, contact me at ashmarino@gmail.com and I will send you a referral. You will receive $25 if you open your account with $250. Good luck to you!

I would recommend Capital One. They have a 3.85% interest yield rate. There is also Countrywide offering a 4.05% rate but I would not count on that rate staying the same.

I find that Emmigrant Direct is easier to use than ING. Happy Savings.

    ING is highly recommended.
I also have money in Emigrant Direct. They have rates that are sometimes a bit higher the INGs, but they are a bit more restrictive on the ways to get money out.https://www.emigrantdirect.com/EmigrantD…
